  Did you KNOW Ray and Cynthia or the legal copyright holder? Only a few maybe had limited contact.

  i have known all of them over the last 15 years, talked at length with them, and knew what their wishes were, the copyright holder and spouse spent even more time with them socially and helping them set up their arrangements for when ray and cynthia passed.

  i don't believe that anyone else on this board or others was a confidant.

  there is no need to prove it to anyone but the copyright office which is satisfied with this.

  Just publish the fucking pdf with a donate button on the commentary press website and stop poncing about.

  But then, maybe if you'd all handled this better and kept the exjw community onside, your donations received from such a button would likely be way higher. I doubt many will be generous under the current circumstances as you will be seen (rightly) as not deserving.

  I'm starting to think they dont want it available so that their stockpiles can dribble out for $$$s over the next few years.

  Computer Techies - Question

  this laptop of mine will be a month old this week, i don't even know how many help desk calls i've made for certain things, but today, as the same thing happened just two weeks ago they ran the cleaner and malwarebytes and lord know what else.

  so every two weeks is this what i have to look forward with the new laptop?

  i know they say to be careful of the sites you go to, which are the same sites i went to on the old nine year old laptopthat runs the almost outdated vista, never had to call in just about every other week for that one, btw, it's windows 10 and mostly use firefox on the new one..

  You didnt say what the problem was btw. What do the scans pick up that is causing you grief? Like you rightly think, a new laptop should not be doing this unless you spend all your time trying to download pirated software from dodgy sites.

  as previously discussed on this forum, the clam meeting is just a rehashed, recycled, reshuffled, & rebranded ministry school and service meeting.

  I was in one congregation where no one was answering and the conductor threatened to call on people who didn't have their hands up....and he did. The attendance was lower the next meeting.

  Yep, I've seen this too several times over the years. It's one of the stupidest things to do in that situation. The problem was that once some pillock with an ego is made an elder it takes years to take it away from him again and the poor congregation he is inflicted on has to suffer thru it.

  hey everyone.

  i'm sorry that this isn't a very thought provoking post but i could really use some advice on how to handle this.

  there isn't anyone else in my life i can ask right now because, being dfed, all of my friends are "worldly" and don't know how witnesses function.

  sorry but i really feel like i need to rant right now.

  recently my dad was made an elder so my family has been doing a lot more "theocratic" activities lately.

  every morning i wake up and put on my itchy dress and stupid makeup and heels and then pretend that i love what i'm doing and that everybody is my friend when in reality i feel horrible and all the other teenage girls at my hall hate me for some reason.

  Just say Jesus was baptised at 30 so if that was good enough for him....

  If you get pressure just say that the more they harp on about it the less inclined you are to do it.

  (do not reward poor behaviours)

  that when they say this is an 'improved' model it never is!.

  i downloaded windows 10 and it wiped out my emails and the email account... oh joy.. i have since removed the 10. arrgh!

  My only issue with windows 10 is the graphics driver crashing in games etc.

  I had to change TdrDelay to 10 in the end though.

  every drop of breast milk has roughly 1 million white blood cells in it.

  so the next time you see a jw drink milk or eating milk with his cereal etc.

  you must run over and take it out of his/her hands and then give them a stern warning.
